Day 8 - Garosugil, Grilled Fish Alley & Myeong-dong

Garosugil is also known as "tree-lined streets", famous for their cafes, boutiques and restaurants. So if you like any of these, this is the place to go to do your cafe hopping.

We got here rather early and unfortunately, majority of the shops were still closed then. Since we were already there, we stopped by Coffeesmith. The Coffeesmith in Garosugil has such a gorgeous and large two-storey seating space with cosy interiors and natural light. Definitely a good hang out place to meet up with friends and to do some studying if you're living in Korea. What I love most about this cafe is that the have these huge glass windows that can be closed to keep out the cold and retractable to let in the summer breeze. Pretty neat, huh?!

How to get here: Sinsa Station (Line 3), Exit 8
Address: 06035, Dosan-daero 13-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Korea
Opening Hours: 9:00am - 2:00am (Sunday to Friday), 9:00am - 3:00am (Friday to Saturday)

We then headed over to Dongdaemun to get this yummy grilled fish simply because I cannot get enough of it and it is soooo good. But unfortunately, the grilled fish shop that we liked is closed on Mondays so we went to the shop next to it. Fish was just as good but the first shop's spicy tofu soup remains undefeated.

It was our last night in Korea so yes, where else would we be if not Myeongdong for some last minute shopping!

It was 9 but we just had to get some patbingsuuuuuuu~
