CHANGING ROOMS/LOCKERS
The changing rooms/lockers are separated by gender and it is crazy huge. Also, quite possibly equipped with pretty much everything and i mean, EVERYTHING you need for a full day spa retreat from spa wear, disposable underwear and bras, styling gels, even deodorant spray and hair dryer.
CALLA SPA BISTRO
Calla Spa has a bistro with a menu that changes weekly so regulars have something different to look forward to each visit and best part about this is you have unlimited helpings of appetizers, main entrees, drinks and desserts. We were also entitled to a complimentary first order of specials but who needs to order the specials when you have the main entrees - which includes seafood laksa, garlic fried rice with crispy chicken etc. Because who doesn't love free flow of food, am I right?!

SPA FACILITIES
Spa facilities includes ladies, gentlemen and mix lounge room to rest and relax in between spa treatments or any time available for spa guests. The lounge chairs are enormous and just nice to cuddle up to your partner, heh, guilty as charged. Similarly to G.Spa, some of their entertainment systems mounted onto the chairs were either faulty or not working and choices of movies were not that impressive so most of the time I'd rather sleep.
COUPLE SUITE WITH JACUZZI
For our massage, we booked the couple room with jacuzzi at a nominal add-on of SGD $98/30 mins. Calla Spa has a variety of massages namely the Oriental Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Aromatherapy Massage and etc. Seeing as our pain tolerance is low so we went for the Aromatherapy Massage hahaha. Even so the entire experience was unforgettable, Kai is easily ticklish so throughout our session we were either giggling or trying our best to tolerate the pain and enjoy.
So.... after our massage, we went back to Bistro, of course. Because.. I is hangry.

MINERAL POOL, SAUNA & STEAM ROOM
What's a spa without a fully equipped sauna, steam room and but of course, their gorgeous mineral pool! Giving you the ala ala hutan feels as you soak and relax. Fortunately for me, my visit to Calla Spa was on a weekday, on Wednesday to be exact, and I was literally the only one using the mineral pool so I got a lot of time with my DSLR, taking shameless self-timer pictures of myself until I could no longer take any because.. I did came to relax. But priorities, it's not everyday you go to a very atas spa so I made damn sure to make the money I spent here worthwhile!

And that pretty much sums up our day retreat at Calla Spa! Hope you loved the surprise Kai! Who says only girls want to be pampered? Calla Spa opens Monday-Sunday from 11am to 10pm so to maximize our time there, we got there as early as possible.
